We seek a talented Marketing Coordinator who has a passion for all things digital and a knack for attention to detail along with solid communication and organization skills. This position requires excellent analytical and project management skills to recommend and drive new promotions, media content across WNDR Alpine’s public channels, and community building events. Experience implementing and managing successful digital programs in a fast-paced environment is a must.

 The Marketing Coordinator’s main role is to execute the full cycle of digital marketing projects from “builds” through full-cycle online marketing programs. A strong understanding of collaborating in a team setting to create digital project management (including information architecture, functional and technical specification requirements for websites, mobile applications, display ads, video ads, landing pages and email marketing) is essential.


  • Manage internal and external digital archive media and marketing assets based on key use
  • Own WNDR Alpine Social Channels, including internal and external community interactions and store management
  • Create assets for print, email, and web in applicable dimensions
  • Conduct research to analyze competitive landscape, market trends and customer behavior, prepare reports by collecting, summarizing, and analyzing data
  • Support the Manager of Marketing and Product Development by analyzing and assembling content forecasts, updating calendars, organizing, and planning promotional sales/content.
  • Ideate, develop, and execute content deliverables with Marketing Team
  • Communicate campaign deliverables, objectives and timelines to the marketing department while providing instructions for promotion or use
  • Play an active role in trade shows, conferences, events, and meetings by identifying, leading, spearheading, new consumer touch points for product and brand and assemble strategy to measure ROI
  • Maintain an inventory and directory of sales support materials making sure all resources are accurate and current while coordinating new material creation as needed
  • Continually seek and research new sources of prospective customers while providing recommendations to marketing and sales leadership
  • Take ownership of Marketing and Sales duties when VP or other relevant roles need assistance, require support, or are in absence
  • Whenever opportunities arise within and/or across functions, supporting Checkerspot’s stated Public Benefits of promoting environmental stewardship, developing more sustainable materials, and democratizing materials and tools for innovative product development for the betterment of local communities.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, advertising or communications or 5 years of relevant experience in the outdoor industry
  • Previous work as a marketing coordinator, analyst or similar role
  • Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing and social marketing.
  • Experience using data analytics software
  • Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills
  • High level of organizational skills
  • Proficiency with the following software: Adobe Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, Social media applications, and CRM management tools
  • E-Commerce platform fluency a must (ie: Shopify, WordPress, etc.)
  • Social Media and content host platforms experience a must (ie: Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, Vimeo, YouTube)
